Raising Awareness for a Rare Autoimmune Disease

SERVICE:

Branding / Social

INDUSTRY:

Healthcare / Wellness

A personal project created to raise awareness for EGPA (formely known as churg strauss), a rare autoimmune disease I was diagnosed with nearly a decade ago. It helped me process my experience, connect with others, and better understand the gaps in our healthcare system. Through bite-sized content and honest storytelling, I aimed to give EGPA a voice and contribute to a more open conversation around autoimmune illness.

Design Impact

I created clear, approachable content using graphics, digestible facts, and honest storytelling designed for social media. The goal was to make EGPA easier to understand — whether you're living with the condition yourself or supporting someone who is. The response was small but powerful. Some posts were saved over 30 times — a quiet sign the content was resonating and being shared. It helped build a meaningful community facing similar autoimmune struggles. Through this project, I shared what I wish I’d had when I was first diagnosed — and in doing so, reminded others (and myself) that we’re not alone. It wasn’t just about raising awareness — it was about making people feel seen.
