Kijiji is Canada’s leading online marketplace, connecting local buyers and sellers across goods, services, autos, and real estate. As consumer behaviors shift, engaging audiences and reinforcing Kijiji’s commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and community-driven commerce became essential. Through a strategic rebrand, digital marketing initiatives, and data-driven optimizations, Kijiji strengthened its presence in the second-hand economy while fostering inclusivity and long-term user engagement.





Design Impact
As part of a new creative team at Kijiji, our small group of three played a key role in executing a rebranding initiative led by BBDO while transitioning much of the creative work in-house—allowing for greater brand consistency and alignment across digital and print platforms. By integrating color theory and vibrant design, we enhanced brand recognition and created a more cohesive marketplace experience. I led social media campaigns, bilingual email marketing, and CRM strategies for Kijiji, Kijiji Autos, and Kijiji Real Estate, ensuring messaging aligned with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and Kijiji’s commitment to sustainability. Additionally, I worked on branded content collaborations, including a partnership with Best Buy, reinforcing Kijiji’s role in the evolving second-hand economy. Through SEO optimization, A/B testing, and data-driven insights, I helped increase organic website traffic, campaign performance, and customer engagement. Bringing creative work in-house strengthened Kijiji’s market presence, brand identity, and long-term creative strategy, reinforcing its position as Canada’s leading sustainable marketplace.
